Advertising and commercial policy
Updated 5 October 2026.
Editorial independence
Valore separates commercial placements from editorial decisions. Advertising does not buy favourable coverage or alter health information. Paid material is labelled where it appears. We do not promise clinical outcomes.
Reader clarity
We avoid misleading urgency, exaggerated claims and language that pressures a reader. Advertisements must comply with applicable UK rules. We may decline a placement that conflicts with our standards.
Health categories
Products involving medicines, supplements or medical claims receive additional scrutiny. Valore is not a treatment provider. Readers should verify products and seek professional advice.
Complaints
Contact 14 Willow Creek Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B75 7FH, UK or call 0161 496 0285. We record complaints and respond within a reasonable period. Material issues are reviewed by an editor.
Version
This policy was revised on 5 October 2026 and replaces the 12 March 2026 version. It may change when law or publishing practice changes.
This policy applies to display placements, sponsored resources, newsletter placements, affiliate links, partnership pages and any other commercial arrangement presented through Valore. A commercial message must be distinguishable from independent editorial work before a reader interacts with it. Labels should use plain terms such as advertisement, sponsored content or commercial partnership, according to the format. The label must remain visible on mobile layouts and near the relevant material.
We assess the identity of the advertiser, the destination page, the wording, the imagery and the apparent purpose of the placement. Claims should be supportable, proportionate and consistent with the destination page. We do not accept copy that creates pressure through false scarcity, suggests a personal health outcome, or implies that a reader should replace professional advice with an advertisement. A placement may be paused while evidence or clarification is requested.
Health-related categories receive additional review because readers may interpret ordinary wording as a personal assurance. A product description must not present itself as an assessment, prescription or substitute for an appropriately qualified professional. Advertisers must not ask Valore to collect sensitive health details through a placement or form. We may decline material that is lawful in one context but unsuitable for this editorial environment.
Commercial partners do not receive individual reader profiles, private correspondence or inferred health information. Technical reporting may include impressions, clicks, broad device information and campaign dates, subject to the privacy and cookies policies. Where an external measurement provider is used, the relevant supplier and transfer safeguards are assessed. We do not sell cookie identifiers or permit advertising partners to build unrelated health profiles from Valore traffic.
Complaints should identify the placement, page, date, concern and any destination URL. Send them to 14 Willow Creek Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B75 7FH, UK or call 0161 496 0285. We aim to acknowledge a complaint within five working days and normally complete an initial review within 20 working days. Serious concerns may be escalated to the editor responsible for commercial standards, and a placement may be removed while the review is open.
Revision record: this policy was revised on 5 October 2026 and replaces the version dated 12 March 2026. It will be reviewed by 5 October 2027 or sooner if advertising rules, site formats or supplier arrangements change. The current contact details remain 14 Willow Creek Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B75 7FH, UK and 0161 496 0285.
